My part of the Gmax models to finish Morne's Marble Hall have at long last started to come to shape.

Would hopefully finish my part of the work by the end of next week latest...

Released!! :D

A Gmax representation of Dragon Peaks Air Force Base also referred to as CL van Wyngaard Airfield, South Africa with photoreal textures.

AFB Dragon Peaks is a small airfield nestled between the hills on the slopes of the Northern Drakensberg of South Africa. The airfield is situated only a few hundred meters from the Dragon Peaks Mountain resort as well as the home of the famous Drakensberg Boys Choir.

The grass runway is aligned 06/24 and 458m long and sits at an elevation of 3 986ft.

The scenery consists of 64 square kilometers of photoscenery with variants for all 4 seasons. Almost 1 100 hand placed autogen buildings and more than 32 000 (yes, thirty-two-thousand) hand placed autogen trees makes up the surrounding scenery. At the airfield itself you will find custom made Gmax models of the airfield buildings and structures with photoreal textures.

Thanks Cornell :D

That is a real pity that it is not working, but thank you for testing and letting me know.

If you wish, what was not working? I know the photoreal will not work and the Autogen, but there must be a way to get the Gmax models to work. :)

I don't have P3D but as far as I know, if you use the FSX SDK's to compile the models, it will most of the time work in P3D as well. I do have FSX but have not designed for it myself. Martin use to convert my scenery for me, so if there is someone willing to join me and convert my stuff to FSX we can go into a "partnership".

Kind regards
Kobus

Here is Dragons Peak AFB (AW56) in FSX/P3D,if Aeroworx is not gowing to make the conversion to FSX i did it already, but cant upload it Fishy must say if he want it converted and uploaded.

Scenery have photoreal native FSX/P3D,models is converted for FSX/P3D and native autogen like trees and building outside the airport.

Fishy let me know.and i will send you the file if you want to upload it.
