The registration 9Q-CTH has been sanded away so its about to take on a new identity.
Once this one departs its very possible we will never see one again in SA.
From a photog point of view I am in the fortunate position of being able to photograph one of the last living dinosaurs :)
Wow. Consider yourself lucky bear =D> . Sad to know we might never see 1 again. Wonder what it's like to fly in
I have flown in one. To Vilanculos a few years ago, operated by Pelican Air (?)

Nice Richard. Was it comfy? And was the cabin very noisy?
Positive rate! :D

Been dragged into the sky many times behind this beast.

Normally, in comps, a tug driver would wave you off at 1500ft AGL and send you on your merry way. Not the driver of this bus... He would just close his side window as an indication he would be departing his current course before he rolled over into a dive. But man can he fly!

Fun times

African Flyer

It had been converted into an airliner, so the seats did not line up with the windows. But the seats were comfortable, and the windows huge. I went to the bathroom to have a look - it was the original executive bathroom with gold-plated ornate taps and a marble counter top.
