Yesterday is history.
Tomorrow is a mystery.
But today is a gift.
That's why it's called the present.

Excuse the bad quality. I came across this very old picture of Air Tractor 502, ZS-MLK back in the day. At the time this photo was taken, she was about a year old. It was taken in front of the hangar on our farm where she was based all those years(on the farm Tevrede, just east of the Heuningberg mountain/koppie a few nm north of the Riebeek mountains for those who might know).
MLK and MFT were the first Air Tractors imported into SA. On the photo you can still see the Mokoro Safaris logo on the canopy. Mokoro Safaris was the Air Tractor agent at the time
MLK will ALWAYS be my all time favorite aircraft. I have BOOKS FULL to write about all the childhood memories I have of her.
I can honestly say MLK is the reason I am where I am today and why I’m busy doing what I’m doing
Oh and the registration number “MLK” is a story for another day. Also one of biggest reasons shes my favorite

Re Air Tractors...Thrushes etc
I was fortunate to meet Leland Snow, the designer of the Thrush and Air Tractor at Oshkosh in 2003. I got him to sign a poster of the Air Tractor ..which I still have somewhere :)
