Nope, fortunately not, but a cow's tooth is too big to fit inside a thin McDonald's patty.

Most likely a piece of cartilage that somehow ended up in the mincer.

See it as finding an egg shell in your scrambled eggs. It shouldn't be there, but it managed to get there.

McDonald's get their meat from Argentina. I'd blame the Argentinean meat supplier instead of McDonald's.

I stopped eating take away all together. It is atrociously expensive and I can cook my own burger in the same time as driving to and waiting for that bland tasteless rubber puck on a bun.
Nando's is unaffordable and with KFC they see how much oil they can reintroduce into the chicken.
No thanks. I am glad I learnt how to cook.

I am happy with a slice of bread and tin baked beans, but many years ago on the beachfront pub/take away we had a hamburger that I refused to eat and to pay for. Agree with Anton and VERY VERY seldom eat out. Prefer a picnic somewhere where you can land, simplistic with a nice view, not overcrowded and every second guy want to polish more than the next .

My ex wife used to work for Bull Brand. She used to stomp the cows into the cans.

As with most things in life - you do get the "questionable operators"

However not everyone is like that.
I had my own butchery / processing plant ( long ago in another life.....) , and I can assure you that even good rump steak will look like your photo once you've added your spices and it's been through the bowl-cutter for a while.

The shady operators uses questionable meat and mostly FAT. The fat can be binded by a "spice" to prevent it from melting in the boiler.

But you CAN still TASTE the difference.

Yes, agree! I watched a programme a while back, and some guys use up to 80% fat in the polony!...nee vok! :?

I believe there are guys that make good quality processed meats, but most are dodgy I think. That's the risk when buying any kind of processed food..

I cannot, for the life of me, understand why anyone would want to expose their children to "fast food"! :P (Most especially McDonald's)

Well said, Anton Nel! =D>
