RIP Dave, thinking of your friends and family in this terrible time. Will remember our two flights together fondly...

Condolences to Stocky's family and friends and, of course, Mike and the TC team.
It is indeed a tragedy and a very sad day for all of us.

RIP Dave.

I can`t understand why people say that there`s no money in aviation.I certainly know that I left all mine there (Col.Jimmy Doolittle of the "Doolittle raid on Japan" fame).

Its so hard to believe....
RIP Dave ....yes you truely died living your passion....
Met Dave at TC and he was always willing to chat and share some knwoledge....a very humble man....and a great pilot and aviator....
Will never forget the low passes he made past Hermanus on his way to TFDC .....his family stayed in Hermanus...heard him so many times requesting startup from TC ...lots of times in the Bucc " ZU-ATH" ..
This is a sad loss to aviation in SA .
Our hearts are with his family....
Will have a moment of silence for him....
Coenie..

Dave and 'Rocket' superbly flew a pair of Hunters at our 2003 EL airshow. My thoughts are with Dave, his family and all the TC guys during this tragic time.

Condolences. Had an opportunity to meet Dave at the 2005 FAOB airshow when he set the SA time and climb record. A great guy and great pilot.
A sad day for SA aviation.

Similarly -- condolences (of course!). What a tragedy -- and especially for his family and TC. MB and his staff must all be devastated...
Shalom!
