Re: Condolences - Stu Lithgow
Really Sad news indeed such a lovely character will definitely be missed on the airwaves in Plett and Knysna.
Rip.
My parents live near the airport and said that around the time the weather changed fast and the wind suddenly started gusting. Not nice in a motor glider

What goes up, must come down...Unless you have a KC-135 to keep you refueled

RIP Stew. Totally shocked to hear the news and will miss you on the radio, in the sky and on the field at Plett.

Condolences to all the family and friends of both the deceased.
I did not know Stu but given what I have read regarding his considerable experience I must admit that it scares me that something like this happens to such a highly experienced pilot.

Re: Condolences - Stu Lithgow
The messages say it all - Stu was one of the best, as an aviator and as a gentleman.
This is a tragic loss to our community and my most sincere condolences to the families involved.
