Bradley Aviation and Lucy Virgo Trainer

Unread post by Roger » Fri Nov 20, 2020 6:08 pm

What is known about this group? I see they have committed a huge sum of money (R244m) in this weeks, South Africa Investment Conference.

On their webpage, they indicate one of their two initiatives is:
LUCY VIRGO TRAINER AIRCRAFT
Two seat light trainer aircraft for general aviation. The Lucy-Virgo concept differentiates itself from international competition through combining this high-tech aircraft that out-performs its competition in technology and aviation performance.
Some further research from the Innovation Bridge site indicates some investing opportunities:
Lucy Virgo Trainer Aircraft: Inspired Light-Weight Wings

The Lucy Virgo is a two-seater light trainer aircraft intended for general aviation. This modern light trainer aircraft significantly reduces the cost of ownership and hourly operating costs. All composite construction and advanced aerodynamics and avionics are revolutionary. BradleyAviation is producing the Lucy Virgo Aircraft in significant numbers, as we believe this new high-tech aircraft will revolutionise flight training in South Africa and globally.
None of these have dates of publishing, so wondering if this is new, or an old dream. Whichever, R244m committed has to be positive?
Don’t take things for granted… Tomorrow is not promised.

I'm afraid something doesn't smell right there Roger.

Does anybody know who is behind Bradley Aviation ?

I have first hand knowledge of what it takes in time and money to bring a certified turboprop aircraft to market

Is this another BEE scam designed to drain money from where it is badly needed ?
