I’m sure the power of avcom will be able point me in the right direction

Where can I find a Aerostar Instructor preferably in the Cape region (however can be anywhere to do it)

Phone the Stellenbosch Flying club and get the number of the chairman Dr Jurie Steyn.
He owned or still have one. Also a Com instrumented pilot.
His brother in law Dirk de Vos ( i think ) flew them and Jurie will be able to direct you
in the right direction

Yes I brought a very nice Aerostar ZS-PDN and it’s a absolute machine

It’s been with us for a few days now. Already on 15 hrs this is a true 200knt aircraft at 115 L per hour ! No fish tail whatsoever it’s how an aircraft should fly. What a machine
