41 year old Boeing 727 just out of Rand heading north to ?

Sure about Rand? I see it flying frequently ex FAOR. Regular freighter flight NBO-JNB-NBO (callsign MEN001, operator Safe Air)

This airfield is north east of Cape Town. Anybody know which airport it is ?

FAFK Fisantekraal

Old Lockheed Ventura SAAF base from WW2.

Lots of student circuits now days. Spent many an hour there watching my students solo circuits

There you go Ray and AOYB.......the keen eye will spot some Lockheed products - 27 Sqn, which means the image would have been taken sometime between Oct 43 and May 44 when they passed through Brooklyn en-route to Algeria :D
