Bought the early release but haven't rebuild my pc since it crashed. Seems like now is a good time.

Due to the price increase in ammunition, do not expect a warning shot.

Sig Sauer, kinda like Glock except for men.

:D Christo

Also bought well early, as with most modules.

Put a nifty i9900k machine together a while ago but am so neck deep in work and real life I haven't touched any simming for ages.

Still early access and plenty not included in the release so no rush.
Looks very nice though in it's beta state. ignoring the over-saturated sky in the vid below

Also Christo

Have you considered VR yet?
I have been on the fence for a loooong time waiting for the tech to develop but the new (post first release) HP Reverb looks like an worthy entry point?

Looking very seriously at VR, just donno which one yet. There are so many things to look at these days I really do not know how to compare apples with apples.

Yup, been that way for a long time.

Have a look at the HP Reverb, best resolution for your bucks by far, just very scarce. (due to initial issue, but thats sorted)
https://www8.hp.com/us/en/vr/reverb-vr-headset.html
Most of the others including Oculus variants don't match the res.
Pimax maybe but sketchy feedback on Eagle forums.

They launched it earlier this year but some of the headsets had some issue with headset plug causing issues resulting in those that were sold being replaced,
This has been fixed and it gets awesome reviews and for flight simming is perfect from what I can tell.

There are others with more sensors with the device than the HP, but that seems to be more for the full room experience if you wanna get fit and play virtual tennis or something hehe. HP still works, just tracking maybe 98% in that scenario. For simming no issue.
The controllers are fine, just not as good as say Oculus ones which people mention, but for simming I dont need that.

I'm very keen on this one if I can get it somewhere.
Nothing local, will take a long time yet just need to import it from US or Europe

I use the Vive Pro, and won’t be able to go back to flat screen. Immersion is amazing, the problem is that your neck gets very sore during a dogfight!

Hand controllers don’t work too well in DCS (well, steam controllers at least), so binding lots of buttons and using a mouse.

But once you try VR, you will be hooked.
I’ve got a 2080TI, and a i7-9700k and it runs pretty well. Managed to play the WW2 campaigns by reflected OK, but on the large bomber missions I need to reduce the numbers of units
I am the last Cylon...

There is a guy at the University with a Rift that Said I can borrow it to test so once I get my pc running, pure lazyness at this stage, I'll give it a go.

I suck at this is all the aircraft. Never get that smooth input and invariably ends up with severe PIO

Wow. Look i like the Viper but this is most likely their most incomplete release yet!!! The other releases were things that were under the bonnet so to speak, this is in your face stuff missing.

If this was not theirs it would most certainly not be allowed into public hands!

Apparently it's spectacular in VR though. Borrowing a Rift on Monday so we will see.
