After a successful and fun tour of Japan earlier this year ZS Flyers is really excited to announce that our next tour will be held in the British Isles.
Starting off at Fetlar we zig zag across Scotland to Newcastle and proceed to fly down the eastern coast of England, via the greater London area to Lands End and then up through Wales to Ireland and back across to the UK ending our flight at London Heathrow. Total flying distance will be around 2258nm not including circuits, weather deviations or the like.
When: We kick off the flight on Friday 17 September at 18:00z (20:00 CET) from EG39
Aircraft: Any light GA aircraft, there are a couple of longish legs which would be better off flown in a Cirrus or C182 but generally any single engine GA aircraft will be fine.
Network: We will fly on the VATSIM network, although we do not specifically request if there will be controllers online the chance is highly likely that some controllers will be online at various stages of the tour.
COMMS: We use the Vatsim pilot clients for comms with ATC and other traffic, we use our own discord server for chit-chat while flying.

ZS Flyers is a virtual flying club that was founded in South Africa around 2006. After several years the club faded out as various members had to put real life issues ahead of Virtual Flying. As the beginning of the pandemic in 2020, ZS Flyers was again started and we have slowly been growing ever since.
At ZS Flyers we believe in having fun while flying. We adhere to the rules of aviation as much as we can but we do ensure that we all have a lot of fun while flying. We welcome virtual pilots of any level, so if you have a couple of thousand hours online experience or have yet to fly your first online flight you are welcome. Come along and have fun with us. We generally have a weekly flight on the Friday evening and more then often someone decides to fly on different nights and posts that on our FB page. Tours specifically are flown on Friday evenings as we then aim for group participation.
