You might find the places in this video familiar.

Afternoon everyone.

Just two quick screenies to show you that Columbus is progressing well. I would say the 3d modelling is about 85% done with a lot of the buildings that would be included.

Decided to also do the AFGRI Silos in town. They are now done, while Columbus is around 90% done and then to finish the mall. Will release as a package along with the Airstrip and helipad (even though it is not in use no more)...

I give up!
Been spending time on Google earth looking for this airport and can't find it. Pietersburg is the closest, but not the same.

Don't believe what I post, research what I post....
They have a book on how to take my money away? When did this happen......

Hi Paulw

It is in fact Marble Hall :D

My part of the work is done, now just waiting for Fishy to do the actual airfield buildings and structures... 8-[

Thanks Adampie, if we need anything we will let you know :)

Unfortunately some of the buildings that Morne modelled has since changed ownership and along with it the signage and so on. I am talking specifically about the building right at the end of the runway when you approach from town's side, but we made the choice to stick to the old owners signage as we had the photos for it.

I have started working on the airfield buildings but things are going very slowly as I am also busy with 3 other projects with another 3 in various stages of completions (or is that 5 in various stages...?  )

Anyhow, there aren't a lot of buildings for Marble Hall airfield so I should maybe just move it up the list and finish it. That way the list of projects will at least get a bit shorter

One of the projects I am currently busy with is a small airfield in Mpumalanga which I am completely re-doing in GMAX. It is an airfield very close to my heart. 9 out of the 37 (or so) buldings/hangars/structures have been done.

While Fishy (Kobus) is being kept from designing due to work pressures, I have decided to try and do some of the easier airfield buildings and stuff for Marble Hall myself in Sektchup...

Looks just like the real deal!!
You just need the cropsprayers in the hangers
Hope there might be a way to convert the scenery to fsx
