Sesriem is a small settlement with a filling station and general supplies store close to the southern end of the Naukluft Mountains.
We were met there by very friendly staff that helped us with fuel and a welcome stretch...

Sossosvlei/ Sesriem landing strip
Hot at 42 degrees
We got some very useful directions from the local tourist carting pilots that fly the area

From there we headed due west towards the coast over endless dessert dunes.
Personally, I don't think anybody would ever find you there should you go down....

The lowlevel flight along the Skeleton coast was a definite highlight passing over Pelican point and the thousands of flamingos taking flight.
Walfish Bay was however a welcome sight!

End of Day 2
We spent the night at the "Beach Hotel" in Swakopmund, and only managed to get out of there the following morning at 10am due to thick fog rolling in along the coast.

We subsequently mover ZU-DEB to a small private landing strip at Ibenstein. Rene the owner flies a microlight in the area just east of Windhoek.

The runway is just a car track with the bushes cleared on both sides. It was problematic as it was also soft sand.
We stayed over for the next couple of nights.
