Students and border control.

....well I tried to get my son back to SA to complete his CPL exams (3 left), and to complete hid night hours (12) and check out flight with the CFI. Lo and behold, there is a gazzette out that prohibits aviation students comming back into SA to complete their course??????

Now, will CAA give extensions on the 18 months requirement to complete the CPL course? What could be the reason for such an obscure decision - the gazzette says final year and students with practical subjects may return to universatiy. Well CPL is like final year - before working fof compensation - and involve a lot of practical flying and exercises???

....I give up, as I said before, I'm gutted, down for the count and the <<moderated - language>> just piles higher...
