Could you please advise on the following request:
I have a Class 4 medical certificate for NPL LSA license. The medical expires at the end of February. I am resident in Botswana and as far as I am able to ascertain there is not a SA CAA approved AME to do medicals in Botswana. Obviously with the Covid restrictions travel is very difficult for me to travel to South Africa to do my medical with my normal examiner Dr P.J Coetsee in Westgate Gauteng. Would it be acceptable for me to do my medical at a CAAB approved examiner in Maun who does medicals for all the commercial pilots working here, and then they can send the results to my South African examiner to do the assessment and application?
Your favourable response will be highly appreciated.
Is it allowed to have a renewable medical done by a non SACAA AME in another country
