Instructor Rating Renewal without Seminar

Hello,
I would like to renew my instructor rating gr3, but have not instructed more than 20 hours within the last year. It seems that the CAA is not currently doing any instructor seminars while Covid is continuing.
I also cannot find any notices on the CAA website referring to this.
Would a DFE be allowed to conduct the test without the required 20 hours instruction within the last year?
Any advise is greatly appreciated!

Webinair dates are posted on the Sacaa website for the purpose of renewing your instructor rating.
