Hi Mary,
Have searched through the CAR's but cannot find an answer.
What are the exact requirements for doing an initial multi-engine rating?
More specifically, can the training and test flight be done in a non-retractable multi-engine aircraft, or does it have to be a retractable version? Seeing as I already have my retract endorsement from doing a CPL I should think that a non-retract should suffice?
Thanks in advance and kind regards,
Markus

Re: Initial multi-engine rating requirements
Hi Markus
A non-retractable is ok, please review CAR 61.13.1(10), CAR 61.13.2(2) and associated CATS.
