Travel pretty much to the SAA Museum but instead of turning left toward the museum, proceed straight and follow that road all the way to the threshold! :D

In the mid to late 1980's, ZS-AVB was based at New Tempe (FATP) and was flown for AVBOB by the legendary Koos van der Merwe whose sole means of navigation, in those days long before GPSs and mobile phones, was a road map of South Africa and the back of his cigarette box for jotting down the occasional clearance or estimate.

At the time, it was rumoured that he was the highest hour C210 pilot in the world. Numbers like 10000 hours were bandied about.

After binging ZS-AUB into the SAA museum, space inside is no more available.
So any idea what will happen in the future with both DC-6s 9Q-CYO and 9Q-CGZ ?
The museum will expand?

Same question for DC-4 ZS-PAJ which still ist inside the SAA museum. You have now ZS-AUB as DC-4.
So here also is the question what will be happen in future...

Any idea or info?
May Jaws knows more?!
