2020/2021 license fees?

Unread post by Sig_ZA » Sat Mar 28, 2020 11:42 am

Anyone know the fees this year for aircraft radio licenses?
Last year it was R148.00
They are due 31/03/2020 and I haven't received renewal notices from ICASA.

I did the whole registration thing at online.icasa.org.za using Chrome. I was verified, accepted and I can log in.

But what a useless website!! I could get nowhere after login. Perhaps it is just me being BC. But hell man Mr webmaster, do the site better man! All I want to do is renew my 'Aircraft Mobile Station' as it is described on the licence.
Perhaps I must just pay the R154 fee by EFT and hope for the best. Proof of payment by the bank I'll request email to myself and I'll use this POP when the ATF renewal comes up soon. Will that work?

Has anyone here used this website? Is there a secret trick to do first?

Phoning ICASA, as you may have guessed, does not work. I managed to get through to head office, but after that, no one answers, even when I call direct numbers. No replies to any emails happens either.

Thanks,
Thys

Each ICASA certification should have an Icasa license number attached to it. Not only the aircraft reg number.

I suppose the aircraft reg number should work as well but I have never used this as the reference. In terms of NTCA you can replace the radio set with another and then what ?
