Re: Fly Africa Virtual 2012
I would like to apologise to FAV, I tried on Friday night to fly from EHAM to VHHH, my PC froze up at approx 640m to go, then on Sat morning i tried again, but this time it froze somewhere over Russia, but this time VAFS took my hours into consideration, I feel as i did not complete the flight properly that i couldnt be credited with the hours given to me by VAFS, i ask of the Management to please remove the hours generated by me on Sat 14th July, if you want to keep the aircraft at VHHH, where it is at the moment or move it back to EHAM thats upto you.
I was a big mouth last week encouriging people to fly longhaul routes and that we as a VA cant afford to have any of our aircraft standing idle for too long.
I have uninstalled all flightsim packages from my pc, and have started re-installing it since Sunday morning, hope fully come this weekend i will be in a position to fly the scheduled routes again.

No biggie Marius, there was no damage to the aircraft and there was no money lost. You need to let me know what you would like to do. Both you and the aircraft show in VHHH, would you like to carry on or would you like me to put both you and the aircraft back at your departure airport. Let me know.
Mark

Good morning Gentleman
I captained the amazing PMDG 747-400 to EHAM last night just touched down, and now heading of to my hotel for some shut eye, here is some pics for you, 1st one just before pushback at FAJS and the second one over Bots as the sun was going down.

Re: Fly Africa Virtual 2012
Well I flew from FAJS to Hong Kong on Friday night, i tried to fly a autoland, but i was way too high for that so i did a go-around, came in for the second landing was gonna do it manual, had some cloud about on short finals, as i was on the number i got a windshear or hit a airpocket but i dropped like a lead baloon onto the runway, very hard landing, so sorry ZS-ADL had to have some serious maintenance done to its main landing gear.
Actually i will be flying this route for reall in three weeks time, ok well just one little difference i will be sitting somewhere in the back, will be flying Cathay Pacific, going to China for business, will be having approx 7 flights in 8 days, not much sleep!
So while im there will see how the maintennce is going, lol
I see ZS-ADL have been flying quite regurly these two months, but i see we are down on flights and income on last month, come on guys lets make September count!!!!
