Here are some shots of my Island hopping, taken during the Rainy season last year or so

Its amazing how the waves crash against the cost Lines, while relaxing in the African sun sipping on a Martini!

Firstly big pleasure. OK are you running Windows 7? I have found loading scenery into Windows & needs to be done differently. I load it manually by taking the scenery file copying and pasting it into the scenery file in FSX and then doing the smae for the texture file. I have loaded all my SA scenery under Africa in the FSX scenery folder. I have then moved Africa up in the priority list in my scenery file in FSX. I hope all this helps, if you still have problems there is TeamSpeakor we will have to render Snoops the pensive dog for help

OK as fa as route planners go, I mainly use two. I have FS Commander (Aerosoft sales this one) and another called AivlaSoft (http://www.aivlasoft.com/products/efb/index.html) both are payware unfortunately. There is a freeware one called Plan G (http://www.tasoftware.co.uk/planG.htm). Never used it but I know the guys in the States use it a lot. For VFR flying there is a lovely program sold by Aerosoft called FSMAp (http://www.fsmap.net/) charts seem mainly to cover the States. Then there is another one I have it at home and will give you the name later, it also mainly covers the States. The best two IMHO are FS Commander or AivlaSoft. they both have monthly updates from Navigraph. FS Commander allows you to load directly into PMDG A/C and Level D as well. AivlaSoft is great for SIDS and STARS check both out. Also check out a little program called TOPCAT (http://www.topcatsim.com/) this is a must have.
Hope all this helps
