This latest move is yet another excellent example that lends even greater credence to the Dunning-Kruger effect.

(If you haven’t yet done so, Justin Kruger and David Dunning’s study entitled “Unskilled and Unaware of It” is an absolute must-read)

Basically put, incompetents are incapable of recognising others as incompetent. The more incompetent someone is in a particular area, the less qualified that person is to assess anyone’s skill in that space, including their own.

The “Unskilled and Unaware of It” research backs up the idea that when a person cannot recognise his or her own poor performance, their self-assessment does not include that negative information. This results in an artificially inflated view of one’s own skills, often tempered by ego. The same effect will cause the incompetent to congratulate one another as they fail to detect one another’s inadequacies.
I made a huge to-do list for today. I just can't figure out who's going to do it.

What's worse is they want to move ultimate control of SAA to the Ministry of Transport where Myeni will the advisor to the minister!

Her R1.2m package is chickenfeed next to Poppy's (presumably "top management") R5.7m and the average R2.6m of the top 10 CAA execs.

I guess that is why the CAA invent industry awards and award them to themselves?

With that first name she should be guaranteed parliamentary access, because all they do there is dudu.
