Ya these guys make big announcements, that invariably never happen. In 2018 they announced they were ordering 100 Boeing 737 Max aircraft. That obviously never happened!

They only signed a "Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).." for 50 units.. :wink: Whatever that means..

Free publicity without actually having to stump up deposits for the aeries! Given the market they are aiming at, one wonders the reason behind buying brand new out the box aircraft, and why such an ambitious start too!

....Frans, I think it is a Memorandum of Undertaking - essentially implying that when ready they undertake to purchase the aircraft.
