Is this a Zodiac or Raven?

Long story... friend of a friend... now deceased...

Does anybody know this aircraft? Raven or Zenith?

I owned/partially built a Raven and comparing to some pics I would say that's a raven. Also the lack of cowling also an indication ( unless its lying out of pic on the ground :) ) But I'm out of touch with this type and could be completely wrong. Also as I recall Ravens were registered as 601's so even a Reg document or build number may not answer you question. Any ID plate with serial number on the fuz.

Justin should be able to add more value, but as said my money is on CB Raven.

Weird that I find no evidence of Zodiac's with the raised turtle deck as we know a CB Raven to have other than a few SA registered examples. I'm almost sure this wasnt exclusive to the local version.

Definitely a Raven, and quite a nice looking one...

There is no plans option for the raised turtle deck on the 601. There are a few custom mods in the US with a raised turtle deck - but none that I know of in SA. Either way, door and window design on this is definitely a Raven.
