Garmin g5 heading error

Unread post by Charlesp » Tue Jun 18, 2019 6:27 pm

I fly a C210 with a garmin g5 pfd and hsi. When on short final approach onto runway 26 at fakr the hdg on the pfd turns yellow indicating that the heading is outside the g5 internal limits. After performing numerous approaches into fakr runway 26 I have noticed that this situation occurs at exactly the same place. My assumption is that there is some sort of magnetic ground interference on short finals. Are there any other g5 operators that have experienced this same problem?
