Taylor Monoplane ZS-UHG

Unread post by Bearcat » Sun May 06, 2018 6:21 pm

My son Keaton has bought ZS-UHG
Whilst the air frame / wings are complete it requires a thorough "going over"
The VW engine has not run in many (10 ?) years and will require a complete overhaul or a new engine.
Thanks to the previous owner Chris Hicks (also owner of 1939 Aeronca ZS-APY) who accepted a lower offer from Keaton because he recognized Keatons passion for getting a project like this back in the air again.

The aircraft is still in Durban .. and we are devising plans to go and fetch it. I think that only once its here will it become a reality to Keaton that he has his own aircraft.. a life time dream for him =D>
Its a small .. in all sense of the word start ... but we all have to start somewhere :)

With such tiny wings the handling must be terrible!

Congrats on the new plane.
