Here is Diamond Aircraft company's rendering of their chopper concept(about 5 years ago). But they stopped working on it back then. Looks familiar!

So who are going to Staffordshire for their live presentation/Q&A session on August 14? Apparently the prototype is almost ready!

I certainly hope it goes as hoped….please take pics of the workings …real data on the prime mover ( by now and by August) should not be a problem?
I hope it’s not a session like a time share hotel meet where they show things of beauty and lure people to part with more cash? without showing you a real Aircraft or better still letting clients who have paid a deposit have a test flight …. In August if your just a in a room with popcorn and CGI ( and we hope not) you better mention the Pal V story ….personally at this stage I’m glad I held onto my deposit

Obviously hoping it does take off …how long has it been now? Two years? ….

This aerie seems like a collection of brand new un-tested parts? Am I right?

Flip… Talk about being a “test pilot”!

I guess the first few thousand hours will be very exciting and let us hope in a good way. If it works out well it will be a game changer. Or the price will go through the roof maybe.

They have never made any claims about timelines that haven’t been achieved. They have always said that the prototype will only fly towards the end of this year or early next year. Deliveries of the first aircraft are still on track for August next year. Mine, serial number 366, is predicted to be delivered in January 2024.

We have been kept up to date with progress literally on a weekly basis with comprehensive video and photo broadcasts. Nobody who has paid a deposit has any misconception about when the first aircraft will fly or when they should expect to receive their aircraft.

Wow, so in six months they will push out 366 aircraft?
