I had to drive, yeah, drive for 3h30 from Port Edward BY road to get there...... :evil:

Yep, I've heard that saying a number of times - personally never had a single prob in the 30+ times the 182 overnighted there (without security).
Seriously, just get a local to guard the aerie (for piece of mind), it's an amazing trip and strip and from Port Edward you're there in 30min max 8)

Was very tempting, but I had no time to spare. I usually keep one day extra open to allow time for issues that might arise.

So if something did happen, I had no back up plan available.

It is however on the bucket list....

That is where I got my first heli flight in an ec120. A month later I was signed up and training.

AJW, you need a steady hand to land vertically. Not easy for the (older) jabi crowd to achieve :D
