Hi Rudi

Looks great. How about some more details? Speed? Fuel burn? LOP ops?

OK, some numbers! In my limited experience so far.

at anything 7000ft and above the RV10 is a 150+ knot airplane at 38-39 liters an hour LOP. I flew like that the whole trip to MOZ

At low levels the burn goes up for the same speed, cause I can't fly LOP that efficiently.

It is an Awesome Cruiser, just set it and forget it. It flies Approaches with easy.

Coming back we flew 1000 feet along the MOZ coast southwards, to Bilene and then to Kruger.
There was a cold front right in the middle of our flight path. The RV10 went through the cold front along the coast without any effort, staying 1000ft, on the shoreline.
It was interesting to note the wind direction & Speed , QNH and viz cloud covering as we progressed through the cold front.

Initially we got sucked into the cold front with high tailwinds up to 60 MPH, then we watched the QNH drop, the viz dropped, then the wind calmed down, we hit rain and as we gone through the middle of it the winds changed into headwinds, and the QNH picked up again.

In the 10 the cold front along the coast was a non event low level.

I looking forward exploring the airplane more and more.

Hello Rudi,

You seriously need to start building something again. I think like me, there are plenty others missing their Monday Morning 'Fix'. Please start building something again! What about a RV14?
