Just been informed from a very reliable source (will not divulge names for ethical reasons) that a family member was tested and found positive for Covid 19 with the following symptoms:
1) No fever
2) Runny nose
3) Phlegmy cough of short duration
4) Slight stiffness in neck
Symptom checks would make interesting reading from other people who tested positive ?!?!?
Sounds like the opposite from what I have read. (I speak under correction) Usually no Phlegm and do have fever, sometimes loss of taste and smell, maybe diarrhea.
What is the chances the person is asymptomatic for COVID-19 although tested positive and have a normal cold or flu on top of it?

perhaps too much faith is being placed in test kits?

“The whole logic is give the commission the means to support member states more. Because when Italy asked for help, nobody could give help. We also couldn’t help Italy.”
There was red-hot anger in the commission’s headquarters. “The commission acted forcefully and immediately in order to persuade all those member states that indulged in such selfish measures,” Lenarčič said.
“At the time we had desperate need of PPE and ventilators and it was almost impossible to find it on the market,” Ricciardi recalled. “So our call was distribution of what was present in Europe and joint procurement. But it took two months to do that. Not for lack of willingness of the European commission but the process was so slow and bureaucratic. We only had ventilators when our acute situation was over.”

5 skokfeite uit groot studie oor inperking
Deur: Hanlie Stadler
9 uur.

LEES OOK: 5,4 miljoen mense verhuis tydens inperking

Fase 1 se navorsing is Woensdag uitgereik.

O.k. so I have received a warning about being a troll so I will abide by the rules and not just post links , vids, quotes and will partake in the discussions were I can. I might add though that 70% of my total posts are still aircraft related although not lately.
That said I'm playing under this and not the conspiracy thread as we all know what we the conspiracy theorists think. What I would like to know how do the others feel the future is going to play out. Considering that we are in day 100 and 10 and seventy or whatever in south Africa and the rest of the world is seeming to be struggling to get back to normal.

I think inter Provincial travel by end of Oct/Nov and International borders by Feb 2021 only. The economic downturn that started in March this year will only reach the lowest point by March next year and will stay at that low point for a few months. The damages done till then will leave more people unemployed than ever in SA and poverty at its worst. Only then by late next year will a very slow and painful recovery start. Crime, I am afraid, will be at an all time high starting by November this year and will escalate during next year.
But then again, I am always optimistic so it might be far worse than that.

I don't think we are going to get rid of masks and most restrictions until the vaccine is available.

Probably not.

Sweden is doing well. Deaths per week down from a peak of +-750 per week to about 60 per week.
Looking at population numbers then Sweden is doing better than UK.
UK population 60m with currently around 450+- deaths per week.
Sweden population +-10m
SA still increasing so haven't received the peak yet.
Brazil reached the peak by the looks of it.
