What a tragedy, I sincerely hope my dear friend survives. Strongs to Cathy and family. Two tragedies in one day...

What terrible news. Wishing SL a full and speedy recovery and the family of the deceased peace and strength during this time.

Speculate as you may, but nobody knows the local conditions and that aeroplane better than SL. The man has skill.

A pre-festive season reminder that an accident can happen to anyone. Be careful up there.

What terrible news - I have to agree with you Miles. Stu is a legend and whatever happened I’m sure was out of his control.

RIP Stu

We will miss you.

Gut wrenching - its just not supposed to happen to a pilot like Stu and in such a gentle aeroplane.

Stu was such a passionate and engaged member of the flying community on the garden route. Thoughts and prayers are with his family. RIP Stu.
