Scenes from Fate is the Hunter come true as A330 diverts due to spilled coffee on pedestal.

It should have been, I always gave the pube a hiding if they spilled my coffee during touch and goes.

Gotta love the diagram:

"Approximate location where coffee spilled". (how often do you see that on a NTSB report)

"Approximate location where decision made to head back for refill".

I seem to recall something similar when a hostess tripped and spilled a cup of coffee into the console of a 737 about twenty years ago . The 737 went inverted from 30000 ft and recovered . I have a mind that it was somewhere near Aden ?

What are those cups called for toddlers? Sippy cups? Should be standard issue for aircrew!

Makes me think of the airliner that just got settled into the climb when the wings suddenly rocked wildly for a few seconds. As the passengers sat in shock and horror the captain's voice came over the intercom saying: "Ladies and gents, I apologize for that. The air hostess accidentally spilled some coffee on my lap causing me to momentarily loose control of the plane. You should see what my pants look like on the front."
One passenger in the back then shouted: "You should see what MY pants look like on the back!"
