Believe a Bell 505 had an accident in Bloemhof today.

Pax, who was daughter of pilot was injured fatally. Skid sunk in soft ground on landing and helicopter rolled over. Blade came into cabin fatally wounding pax.

There are conflicting reports on what and where it happened. Some say it happened at Bloemhof or Christiana or Petrus Steyn. Social Media report from a Heilbron local newspaper indicates it happened on their farm near Petrus Steyn (edit: but the newspaper now confirmed it happened at Christiana). Then it is indicated that she was struck by the rotor while disembarking the B505 when the left hand skid collapsed while another report indicated that pieces of the rotor struck the girl inside the cockpit when the skid sank into wet soil.

In any case this is a very sad incident and my heart goes out to the family.

Radarbox suggests it happened outside Christiana ?

Have updated heading with location.

You are correct there were a number of reports as to how it happened. The fact that there is a cover over the cockpit would seem to support the blade into cockpit report.
