Weather radar down again...

Hi

Any one have any idea of the reason the weather radars covering gauteng (and other areas) is down again... Irene, Ottosdal, etc etc. Wouldn't it be nice if SAWS communicated this with the users - they have all our details.

Irene has constant power issues, they have been mostly incompetent addressing it.
Current issues are load-shedding related, they have a faulty ATS, so the system loses power and doesn't recover. "it is being looked at".
Too many service providers, not enough service.
