I see the Gupta's jet was advertised for sale in Tuesday's edition of Business Day.
Did it stipulate a registration? I saw it outside Execujet on Saturday with its registration removed... The paint scheme was the giveaway

Gupta jet for sale

Unread post by T&D » Sat Sep 14, 2019 9:42 am

Gupta jer for sale asking price R440 mil.

Is this a fair price to ask? Heard it has been on sale through local seller for a while.

Given reputation surrounding family how difficult will this sell be?

Aircraft can’t be sold as there is a court case proceeding. There was hope the Gupta family was going to accept the litigation on the aircraft, however they have not and so we will see the case going forward and the sale been held off till such time. This is not a quick thing to get done.

I would imagine the holding costs on an aircraft of that size are pretty eye-watering.

No wonder they are trying to sell it, no way to recover those costs, and the longer it sits, the quicker it devalues (as seems to be the case with aircraft).
