International Blue Chip Aviation concern requires an astute and assertive Operations Executive / Accountable Manager This position will be accountable to the Managing Director PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU HAVE NOT WORKED IN THE AVIATION INDUSTRY - NO APPLICATIONS OUTSIDE THE INDUSTRY WILL BE CONSIDERED.

Key to this position will be the overall coordination and management of the operations and compliance of the operation. Key will be to maintain strategic business performance.

Responsibilities will include

Maintenance Repairs & Overhauls
Logistics and Supply Chain
Technical Support

As Accountable Manager this incumbent will be responsible for the following

Obtaining, when applicable, and maintaining the company's National Airworthiness Authority approvals, as required by commercial requirements.
Compliance with the regulations and requirements of National Airworthiness Authorities
Cordial relationships with National Airworthiness Authorities.
Advise to national Airworthiness Authorities and operators regarding flight safety and technical standards

Minimum Requirements for this position

Relevant Technical qualification/ Mechanical Engineering qualification
at least 5 -10 years experience in a similar AVIATION related position.
Compliance experience would be an advantage
Knowledge of Export control would be an advantage
Effective communication skills (Written and Verbal)
Ability to work under pressure, independently as well as part of a team
Identify and manage risk appropriately
Ability to apply ethical and professional judgement when dealing with stakeholders
Possess integrity and high ethical standards
Possess a high degree of cultural sensitivity and exhibit respect for diversity of all types.
Committed to communicating and promoting organizational values across the organization

This position would suit a highly professional, proactive person with good organizational skills, time management skills with exceptional problem solving skills
