Try Comet Aviation, they have one that does not need any service ever, ideal for a small aircraft.

Those Halon extinguishers are damn expensive. In an enclosed gyro it would make sense but what about an open cockpit Magni?

I bought a Halon extinguisher here for much cheaper than Comet:

https://pilotshop.co.za/product/bcf-hal ... nguishers/

However, from the labels on the extinguisher it looks like they simply refilled normal steel powder canisters with Halon, so at 1.7kg its much heavier than the aluminium ones Comet sells. It just feels heavy in the hand whereas the Comet one feels light.

But heck, its way cheaper :)

Agree, that 1.7kg is no problem...
